On The Structure and Solvability of Pell and Pell-Type Equations: Algebraic and Statistical Perspectives

This paper presents a study of Pell’s equation, one of the most important Diophantine equations in number theory. It reviews the historical development of the equation, its basic properties, and classical solution methods based on continued fractions. The paper also discusses its applications in algebraic number theory, quadratic forms, and Diophantine analysis. Several worked examples are included to illustrate the solution process. In addition, a statistical perspective is presented to examine the distribution of solvable Pell-type equations for selected values of D.

An Analytical Study of Lebesgue Integration and Its Applications

This paper provides an overview of the theory of Lebesgue integration as one of the fundamental concepts in modern mathematical analysis. It discusses measurable sets, measurable functions, the construction of the Lebesgue integral, and its main convergence theorems. The paper also reviews its applications in probability theory, statistics, functional analysis, Fourier analysis, and partial differential equations. The findings highlight the importance of Lebesgue integration as a powerful and flexible tool for handling limits, convergence, and irregular functions in modern mathematical research.

البنية المعرفية للتحصيل الدراسي في الرياضيات في المرحلة الثانوية (دراسة ميدانية في إطار التحليل التربوي وأزمة أسس الرياضيات والمنطق المعاصر)

هدفت الدراسة إلى تحليل العوامل المؤثرة في التحصيل الدراسي في الرياضيات لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية من منظور تربوي وفلسفي، باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي على عينة من 240 طالبًا وطالبة و60 معلمًا ومعلمة. وأظهرت النتائج أن القلق الرياضي كان العامل الأكثر تأثيرًا في ضعف التحصيل، تليه العوامل المنهجية والتربوية. كما بينت أن غياب البعد المنطقي في تدريس المفاهيم يؤدي إلى ضعف الفهم الاستدلالي. وأوصت الدراسة بإعادة تطوير تدريس الرياضيات وفق المنطق الرياضي، وتنمية التفكير الاستدلالي لدى الطلاب من خلال تدريب المعلمين وتطوير النماذج التعليمية.

The strategies of improvement the Performance for the Jacobi method using Gaussian iterative methods

Abstract

This work presents advanced methodologies for the improvement of the Jacobi method by incorporating Gauss-Seidel iterative schemes [1][2]. The Jacobi method, though simple to use [3][4], usually suffers from slow convergence, especially for large-scale linear systems [5]. In this regard, a hybrid scheme is presented that utilizes the strengths of both the Jacobi and Gauss-Seidel methods [6][7]. The important techniques that form the basis of this study include successive over-relaxation (SOR) to accelerate the convergence [2][8], adaptive step-sizing based on residual monitoring [9][10], and preconditioning techniques that enhance the numerical properties of the linear systems [11][12]. Furthermore, the effect of reordering equations for improved convergence rates is also considered [11]. Numerical experiments performed in the context of this study show that these enhancements significantly reduce the number of iterations required for acceptable solutions, thus enhancing computational efficiency [2][13]. In this context, the proposed hybrid scheme outperforms the traditional Jacobi and Gauss-Seidel methods for several scenarios and provides a robust solution for practitioners working in applied mathematics and engineering disciplines [2]. The Weyl Algebra as a Ring of Differential Operators

In this paper we define the Weyl algebra by two ways, and we study some theorems related to this algebra. We also study it widely as a ring of differential operators.
